FPMA Committees

The heart of the Association is the work accomplished by member volunteers who donate time and energy for the good of the industry. The committees meet at the call of the chairman to accomplish projects, set objectives and priorities and, in general, make recommendations to the Board of Directors. All committee programs are included in the Association's long range plan. Active, Allied and Associate members are eligible to serve on Association committees.

Committee members are appointed and serve at the pleasure of the incoming President. Members are required to attend all meetings and actively participate in committee projects. (Reimbursement for official meetings is available to include lodging, parking, and transportation (economy) to and from the meeting site. (Food is not included.)

Communications

Develop and implement programs to improve the public image of the industry.

Convention

Plan and execute the annual convention.

Education

Organize and develop education and training programs.

Government Affairs

Monitor, review and recommend changes to local, state and federal laws.

Florida Pest Control and Lawn Expo

Plan and execute the annual expo.

Membership

Develop and implement programs to expand and retain the membership base.
