Pest-PAC: Protecting Florida’s Pest Management Industry
📜 About Pest-PAC
Established in 1982, the Pest-PAC is the political committee of the Florida Pest Management Association (FPMA), created under Florida law to protect, preserve, and advance the private enterprise system and a strong United States of America.
Pest-PAC uses contributions from members and supporters to back political candidates, organizations, and parties at the state and local levels who share our commitment to fair regulation, business growth, and a strong pest management industry.
🌟 Why Pest-PAC Matters to Florida Pest Control Professionals
-
Pooled Resources, Stronger Impact – Pest-PAC is the most effective way to combine our resources and get pest management priorities in front of Florida’s lawmakers.
-
Your Voice in Tallahassee – It’s the only united voice that speaks on behalf of pest, lawn, and fumigation professionals to those who write and enforce the laws that affect your business.
-
Proactive Legislative Work – Through Pest-PAC, FPMA’s Governmental Affairs Committee works with lobbyists to create, support, and promote legislation that benefits Florida pest management professionals.
-
Support for Legislative Day – Contributions help make our annual Legislative Day possible, giving members direct access to lawmakers.
-
Strategic Political Contributions – Using a careful selection process in partnership with Timmins Consulting, Pest-PAC directs funds to candidates who understand our industry’s needs and values.
📈 Proven Results
With a success rate of over 74% in the last two election cycles, Pest-PAC has a strong record of supporting winning candidates who stand with the pest management industry. Recent debates on fertilizer and fumigation regulations show why it’s critical to elect leaders who are business- and industry-friendly, reasonable, and willing to listen.
