About Us

ORGANIZED & INCORPORATED:

The Florida Pest Management Association is a state-wide organization with its main office in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The Association was founded in 1945 in Gainesville, Florida as a non-profit trade association 501(c)6. For over seventy-five years it has represented the industry and protected Floridians.

 

MISSION:

To communicate the role of the industry as protector of food, health, property, and environment; to promote high standards of business ethics among industry members; to support research, education, and training within the industry; and to cooperate with federal, state and local government for the good of the community and the industry.

 

MEMBERSHIP:

One thousand members who are categorized as PMP, PMP Employees, Allied, Affiliate, Associate, Student, Honorary, or Allied Branches, that agree to abide by the FPMA Code of Ethics.
