FPMA’s 16 Regions hold up to eight local meetings annually for a possible 128 opportunities for pest management professionals to fellowship over lunch or dinner, learn about the latest member and industry news, hear about the latest products, equipment, services and technologies from Allied members, and earn necessary CEUs.

Times, dates, locations, costs, speakers and CEUs for regional meetings are listed below.

Speaker: Dr. Philip Koehler, Endowed Professor Urban Entomology, UF




Dr. Philip G. Koehler is the Margie and Dempsey Sapp Endowed Professor of Structural Pest Control and also the Florida Pest Management Association’s Endowed Professor of Urban Entomology at the University of Florida. He is an honorary member of the Florida Pest Management Association and honorary member of the Certified Pest Control Operators of Florida. 
 
His honors include the National Pest Management Association’s Leadership Award, the University of Florida’s Distinguished Faculty Award, University of Florida’s Academy of Teaching Excellence, University of Florida Professorial Excellence Award, Two USDA Distinguished Service Awards, The Florida Pest Management Association Outstanding Service Award, 2012 Pioneer Award and 2013 President’s Award. He was inducted into the Pest Management Professional Hall of Fame in 2015 and received the PCT Leadership Award in 1996. 
 
He is well known for his research in Urban Entomology and Structural Pest Control, including research on mosquitos, bed bugs flies, cockroaches, termites and ants

Education: University of Central Florida (B.A., Legal Studies, summa cum laude, 1992); Stetson University College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 1995).  Phi Delta Phi; Phi Kappa Phi.
