As Government Affairs Chairman for the Florida Pest Management Association (FPMA),
I am writing to invite you to a focused Zoom briefing and Q&A session regarding the recent
FDACS Door-to-Door Sales Memorandum and the new FPMA Guide to Compliance in this area.

Door-to-door solicitation remains a high-priority compliance and enforcement issue. This session will
provide a clear overview of the FDACS memorandum, walk through key requirements under Chapter 482,
Chapter 501 and related rules and review the FPMA’s practical compliance guide designed specifically for
pest control companies. We will cover permitted activities, required documentation, common pitfalls,
recordkeeping obligations, and best practices to protect your business while maintaining strong community
relationships.

Meeting Details:

This is an industry-focused session open to all Florida pest control operators and FPMA members. Whether
your company currently uses door-to-door sales or simply wants to stay informed on regulatory expectations,
we encourage you to join.

Your participation helps ensure our industry remains proactive and unified on compliance matters. If you
have specific questions you would like addressed during the briefing, feel free to reply with them in advance.

Thank you for your continued leadership in professional pest management.
We look forward to seeing you on the call.

"Members Get Members (MGM) is how we grow FPMA—our strongest engine isn’t advertising, it’s our own engaged members.

When you introduce a peer to FPMA, you’re not just adding a name to the roster; you’re strengthening our network, elevating our profession, and shaping the future of pest management in Florida.
"
Paul DiLorenzo, President
