The Florida Pest Management Association (FPMA) Code of Ethics defines the professional standards every member agrees to uphold. These principles guide how Florida pest management professionals serve customers, work with competitors, and represent the industry. By following these ethical standards, FPMA members protect public health, safeguard property, and promote trust in the Florida pest control industry.

Relation of Member Company to Public: The member company shall not use false, tricky, fraudulent, or misleading wording or methods in advertisements or other solicitations of business.

Relation of Member Company to Customers: The member company shall thoroughly analyze the needs of customers and conscientiously recommend the means best suited to meet those needs.

Professional Services: Upon accepting a contract or service agreement, the member company shall render skilled, intelligent, and conscientious service.

Relation of Member Company to Competitor: The member company shall not publicly criticize the business or private affairs of a competitor.
Relation of Member Company to Our Association: The member company shall be loyal to the principles of the Association, active in advancing those principles, and comply strictly with the letter and spirit of all federal and state antitrust laws and those laws which govern the pest control industry.
